Lessons learned

The basic idea of proposed work is the invigoration of the old district Tritaki, part of the old Patras, which constitutes a region of particular historical importance for the city and thus its reformation will also contribute in the appointment of cultural heritage of city of Patras. The reformation of region will contribute in the aesthetic upgrade and improvement of environment and of course in the improvement of quality of life and conditions of existence of residents.
Objectives of intervention are also the preservation of the historicity and the cultural identity of region through:

a) the operation of a report (means of archival material that will have been collected at the duration of program), which will be available in the residents of region and in visitors from other districts of city,

b) the creation of film of historical content with regard to Tritaki, with elements and photographs of past and videotaped testimonies of residents,

c) the publication of book with corresponding content and finally

d) the organisation of festive events in annual base for the appointment of local customs and feasts that will encourage the participation of the residents.

Final objective of these activities is the improvement of the quality that exist today in the region, because of its devalorisation and promotion of equal opportunities of social incorporation.
