Paul Chorus

Paul Chorus holds a degree in urban planning from Saxion Hogeschool in Deventer, the Netherlands and following its completion commenced his studies at the University of Amsterdam.

An internship of four months at the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo resulted in his master thesis. Multiple and intensive land use in Tokyo, a good example for the Netherlands (2002). In 2005 he was awarded a Mombusho Scholarship by the Japanese government and returned to Japan, where he is doing research for his PhD which is on the driving forces behind station development.

He was a guest researcher at the University of Tokyo, a position until the beginning of 2007
