The rehabilitation program for Middle Ferencváros (Budapest, IX. District) began at the bloks next to the Great Boulevard (Nagykörút), and progressed towards the Haller street - just along Tompa Street.
The first way for rehabilitation was to renovate the residential buildings owned by the Local Government. The second way was to develop infrastructure, to build or renovate public places, green patches and parks. The building which now hosts the buildings of the Budapest Municipality was originally planned to be a hospital, later it worked as military barracks. Since Budapest Municipality owns it it was adopted and enlarged many times. Amongs others new office buildings, theater, fire station and a bazaar with many little shops were building during time. The square of King George I is of great historic importance for the city of Patras. It is characteristically located in its centre with the "Apollo" Municipal Theatre as its reference point. It constitutes one of the most significant neoclassical buildings of the city, designed by Ernst Ziller and built in 1857. APOLLO theatre is found in the centre of the city facing George 'A square. It's surface is about 1.592 m2. It was built in 1871 by the famous architect Ernest Chiller and is the city's main cultural events centre until now. The building is declared perceivable. In order for it to correspond to the city's needs in the framework of "Cultural Capital of Europe- 2006" this project suggests some direct interventions to the infrastructures of the building (turning scene, floor, dumpers, trap-doors e.t.c.)

The Old Arctic Market of Patras (Argiri Market) is a characteristic sample of Market buildings created after Greece purchased her freedom, it occupies a whole building block and is encompassed by three central roads of the city. An introvert building with internal atrium and two internal arcades with square columns faced towards the atrium. The building group of Old Municipal Slaughterhouses of Patras, is found in the meridian side of city, on the coastal road and in distance of three kilometres from the city centre. The Old Baths belong in the Municipality of Patras. By restoring the building of the Old Baths we intend to create an exhibition hall in order to serve the city's needs in the aspect of being "Cultural Capital of Europe-2006" The project's main target is to create a modern gallery to shelter the works of young artists as well as photography and sculpture exhibitions. Old Baths building is placed in the middle of the city and it is of historical meaning, it was built in the early 20th century and belongs to the city's architectural inheritance.
