4-7 April 2004 MILUnet Launch Meeting The Hague - The Netherlands
To start up the whole MILUnet operation the Lead Partner, together with the secretariat, organised a Launch Meeting from 4-7 April 2004 in The Hague in the Carlton Beach Hotel in Scheveningen.
Besides discussing a lot of organisational issues, this was also the first try out of the Implementation Lab, the results can be found in the report.

The planning & redeveloptment process In 1998 eight development companies interested in rebuilding this 6.3-hectare site neighbourhood nor its administration would allow the erection of simple tenement buildings. Only an adequate and fully compatible alternative to the factory would be acceptable. Accordingly, the primary redevelopment goal remains the creation of a new neighbourhood quarter that contains a balanced mix of residences, employment and recreational potential. Redevelopment of this site remains a unique opportunity to create a new and improved image for the district.
